Silver Sound is an Emmy-Award winning NYC sound studio, opened in 2006. Recent feature film projects include Driftwood (dir. Paul Taylor, Slamdance Narrative Jury Award 2016) and A Stray (dir. Musa Syed, SXSW Official Selection, 2016). In 2015, Silver Sound launched SilVR, a new division focused on developing new techniques to capture, design, and deliver spatial audio mixes for 360-degree video content.

The workflow developed in-house at SilVR allows unprecedented ease of rapid design and monitoring in a full-sphere 360 mix environment with real-time binaural decoding. Since its founding, SilVR has become an industry trailblazer in adaptive spatial audio, collaborating on many exciting VR projects with Jessica Brillhart at Google, VICE Media, the National Park Service, NatGeo, NBA, NHL, and many others.
